The News today is filled with agitation and negative dimensions so that we often feel submerged in a sea of trouble. However the Oasis Vision talks of a
different scene: one where Reality, Truth, Peace, Happiness, and Freedom prevail for all. It is difficult at times to reconcile this with the picture of the world that is constantly portrayed.
I feel that the operative word here is Truth. If we believe that this Vision is true, all we can do is to try to let it happen within our own sphere of activity, living in the best way we can to nurture this Truth.
Mary explains that we need to come at this in our own individual way- our journey is our own, and we are meant to discover this Truth for ourselves. She does however give clear practical guidelines for us to follow if we choose to. The crux of these is the motivating force of Love, as without moving with the Spirit of Love nothing else infact means anything.
Simplicity She says is the essence of spirituality so unless we find this simplicity we can not really find the Truth. Materialism is pulling us the other way, complicating our journey emphasizing the importance of money and possessions whereas in truth the less we possess the freer we really are. Within this framework we can adapt to our living situation, using our talents and our inspiration to follow a pattern that is bound to Love and a balance of the physical and spiritual aspects of life, always staying as close as we can to God, Nature, and the other Human Beings we meet each day.
Within this we can bring much variety, colour and zest, believing always that God wishes us to be free, peaceful and living life to the full.May this year bring us all the Peace and Happiness we yearn for.

Following is a poem that I wrote several years ago. I feel that it correlates so well with this newsletter using a deeper and more imaginative expression. You might find it helpful to use a quiet moment to read and reflect on it.
I Have a Dream.
I want to tell you of a beautiful dream:
a dream that's not a dream,
a dream I feel in deepest hope will reach
the heights of wonder, beauty, truth, reality.
Why do we drift through life
searching for something real and find only illusion-
things of such gravity, poverty, shabbiness
that life ends in misery and grief ?
Why, when the stars shine for us
and the sun talks to us of light and splendour ?
Dare we touch this Realm ?
Dare we look around us at poverty and misery
and wish to show them the stars ?
Only with this desire will sparks of reality
light a new way for us:
a way that lifts us into meaning, purpose
and solid core life.
A life where newness, freshness, peace,freedom
live for all, and all drink of
this beauty and this truth.
And Heaven reaches down to Earth
and kisses it in realization of its destiny.
And I no longer fear Death
Life has melted it away forever.
The following prayers are integrally bound to The Oasis Vision. They both incorporate so simply the concepts of truth, Peace, Freedom, and the Hope of a New Enlightened World. Please try to meditate on these too.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, kindle in them the fire of your love: send forth your Spirit and they will be created, and you will renew the face of the Earth.

Oasis Autumn News (2013)- A Summary
The Oasis Vision-(Message) began in 1987 in a very gentle way. It was very personal and private, taking the form of 'Inner Locutions' in the persons of Jesus and Mary. From this I leared much in terms of a deep spirituality and theology, always of a positive loving nature. (There is a booklet available on this aspect - with quotations and details of how the Vision developed- entitled 'Story of a Vision'. It was explained that ;The Oasis of The Holy Family' was a Patronage Name offered, and ofcourse I accepted.
In the early 1990's the Vision expanded very dramatically and became prophetic in nature - explaining future world developments. At this point a move to Malta was initiated.
From here the Vision has developed consistently, Mary being the dominant figure. It seemed necessary at this stage to open some details of the Vision as a message, so that whoever wished could learn some of the facts. Many talks have been offered, and much material,-printed, auditory,and visual has been produced.
A Way of life and a Practical Proposition.
As the Vision has developed it explained that in the near future the world would face many disastrous scenarios. I was given details of these - obviously of a prophetic nature. Ultimately those who were able to overcome these would of necessity revert to a very simple way of living with each other. In Malta Mary hoped that individuals would realise the importance of this, and would begin to reorganise their life to live together in an Oasis Settlement that would work holistically and practically along the following lines:- People coming together to live and work together with Love as their main motivation. A caring, sharing attitude that would begin to uplift, protect and work towards a simple, free, happy self-sufficiency. Resources, skills etc would be shared, as would ideas and activities. Healthcare would be a priority, so food would be organically grown and wholesomely prepared. Exercise would be varied and regular according to interest. The central core of the Settlement would ofcourse be the Spiritual aspect. People would have a deep awareness of God and His Holy Spirit (the Life Force) moving through each other and the environment. They would work with God's Spirit, with Nature, in a loving eneterprise that would increasingly uplift and protect each other in a strong Communion of Love. This would be the Oasis Settlement's primary nature. The proposition of the Oasis Settlement remains to date.
Into this Settlement Mary has always promised a Supernatural Help as a New Energy, so that as the World begins to enter increasing disasters,there will infact be within the Settlement a Protection that will supercede these disasters. The community will thrive and develop in peace and wellbeing, aided by an increasing spiritual enlightenment that will ultimately uplift into a New World where in fact Heaven and earth meet in perfect Happiness. An amazing proposition !

A New Pattern.
Life is beautiful because it's from God- we can help to keep it beautiful by the way we live it.
So Five Steps to Beauty, Health and Happiness.
(1) Let go of worldy things like money and possesions to the extent that they are the most important things in your life.
(2)Let go of anything that makes you feel stressful, in that you can begin to live each day as positively as possible, trying to really believe that God wants you to be happy, peaceful, free,, full of life and energy.
(3) Decide that God is really the one who knows best and let Him lead you each moment the best you can.
(4) Leave much time in your day to deepen your relationship with God so that He isn't a fairy tale, but someone real and true that you can relate to, depend on, love and trust.
(5) Know that each moment of your life is the way that you can move into a happier relationship with God by moving into a happy relationship with anyone and everyone you meet each day. Don't let negativity get between you and real commitment to living fully and lovingly with other people each day of your life.Then the negativity will dissolve, and you will be truly happy, peaceful ,free and full of Life- as you should be !

Oasis Model Community
Requirements.
(1) A desire to opt out of materialism in its gross sense of physical and monitory accruement, and a concentration on a self-sufficiency based on social interaction of a sustaining kind within an egalitarian framework.
(2) A real commitment to Love and caring and sharing, in a simple development of life that provides everyone with basic necessities and an environmental health and recreational programme that is free and enterprising
(3) A new understanding of energy, realizing that the input that one can offer in terms of one's own resources, skills and abilities is crucial to the developing positive and self- sustaining picture.
(4) A crucial approach to spirituality in that God is understood as the giver of Life and His offering of this Life-force- the Spirit of Life is available in greater impetus in relation to one's own offering of love to the community.
(5) A simple understanding of spirituality inits ability to develop a holism within the community, because people are working together to offer their sense of spirituality as a basic requirement in terms of productivity i.e. the more active the love the more abundant the positive development of the envionment in terms of peace, freedom, and a new holistic understanding of living that lets people live fully and happily with complete well-being.
Benefits.
(1) A New Foce of Energy instilled by God to offer a protection that is both physical and spiritual.
(2) A development of this Protection in relation to the community development, in terms of the Programme offered above.
(3) A simple enlightenment that lets people know increasingly that God is helping them to develop their life in a perfectly holistic way to the extent that they believe in the principles that He requires in this community development.
(4) A simple transitional movement into a coordinated system of energizing that will lift people into a new understanding of happiness in their relationship with God and each other.
(5) An uplifting experience of such power that communities following the requirements will know that they are entering a 'New Sphere' where there is only the positive, and this positivism will allow them to experience perfect peace and well-being in an ongoing moment.
Through the Oasis Mary offers this Model Community. It is the one that will offer a protection, and it is the one that will offer very clearly a reorganized pattern for living that will let the World survive. The Model will be organized quite systematically and it will be most functional and viable. It will come into being, but She explains only when people can really understand and work with its meaning, its philosophy, its truth, its whole necessary existence, and then God will accept it as the true development that He will be with in a massive Enterprise of Peace.
