Live With the Heart

So how are we to find this Love ? How are we to use it positively to transform our lives ? Most important to Jesus and Mary is a real opening up of the heart.A basic letting go of instictive fear, an acceptance that we need help, guidance, spiritual strengthening; an acceptance that there is really more to ourselves than a body and mind, and that it is in fact our duty as an individual to discover this inner spiritual self and so find Love- and God.

Early in their conversation they talked about the great need that we have as individuals to locate our heart and our soul, and use them. One evening Mary told me gently :-

  "........I am speaking to you with my heart. You must always live with your heart,look wih your heart to find the Truth."

She described the heart in more detail that evening:-

     " The Heart is a storehouse of all that filters through the mind. It is the seat of inspiration, the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. the heart also stores the emotions of Man, which, when they fuse with the Divine Spirit, take root in the Soul to give strength and direction....."

She also explained that it is here that the Holy Spirit activates energy inside me :-

".......in your heart is the natural place for him to be, because he is Love. If your Love turns inward he is stifled - if you meet him in loving union he is liberated, and activates loving energy in you, pushing it outwards ever increasngly. He is the Activator, the Liberator, the Unifier, here, there everywhere, the essential essence of God in motion. He frees, he unites, he activates, he makes total use of the energy which comes from a totally loving God. You must maximize his power to fulfil your potential - to be united in essence with the Divine essence, whilst retaining individuality."    

Shortly afterwards they allowed St.John to talk to me further on the topic of 'The Heart':-

".........things of the heart are always precious, and I knew this so deeply when I wrote my Gospel. It was a work of the heart and was guided by the heart of all hearts.

The heart is an interesting phenomenon because it is the seat which leads us to knowledge and the knowledge we need is so simple because it is the essence of the heart, which is love. This love emerges from the heart and can enter the world in a state of flux. Its creativity allows for passages of great ardour and pith, and its direction is always faultless. My writing was inspired  by the movement of my  heart, but my heart created within me a store of knowledge which was boundless and which seemed interminable to the extent that my writing capacity was never satiated. I wanted so deeply to convey my love for Jesus. This for me was the total meaning of existence. I did not know Heaven, but knew something of it from my experiences with Jesus. After his death the understanding of him deepened so tremendously it was, as it were,a great light shining with such power that it had to be expressed in words and conveyed to the world.The world must know the strength, the beauty and the dominance of the one who saved us, and must learn o link him with a Godhead that became even more real in the light of him who personified it.I have written many things Maureen, in my writings, but the greatest Truth lies  in the words that I have so simply and clearly stated:- that this Godhead exists for us in terms of an undeniable unity- a unity which cannot be dissolved, and which gathers  each one of us into its totality.We grow here into a fusion which cannot be seperated or identified other than in this totality We are at rest here and in motion:we have our Being here, and our fullness and our depth. Please hear my words, try to understand, because in understanding you will be coming closer always to my great love. Much love always. John."

Simultaneously with the descriptions of the 'Heart' came decriptions of the  'Soul' and the 'Mind'. One evening I asked Mary to explain the Soul simply to me, and she replied:-

"  ........the Soul is the meeting place, the central point of our existence- humanity fuses with the Divine and becomes one essence, whilst retaining its individuality and uniqueness..... we must try to locate our souls which are our true selves. It is here that the true harmony is achieved - body,mind,spirit, heart,- all united with Divine Love in a reciprocal act of Love which spills over to others and creates Peace....'

Jesus later talked passionately of his great Love for us - our Souls:-

" .......this is my one aim, to draw souls together in deep love, in total mystical union, which rises above seperateness and which defies destruction; which can exist  of itself in total harmony and yet have the individuality of essences  which allow for seperate identity. This mystical union is The Trinity in its completeness - its function embodied its Soul

Divinised, its reality interpreted totally......"

When it comes to the 'Mind' Jesus and Mary were adamant:-

" Nothing can hurt you if you draw everything back to the source which is Love. The 'Mind' must be used to draw you to Love - that is its only function."

Again, one evening Mary told me:-

"Don't worry about the Mind - let us work through your mind and lead you to your Soul. This is where the Truth lies. If you surrender your mind to me I will guide you to the truth and give you the Peace you are searching for. You must realize how the mind can play tricks on you - surrender your mind and you will enter a new dimension of Truth."
