Spring is the time when the feeling of replenishment is in the air; a time of rebirth, growth,development into a new life that is available as we move into this rhythmic cyclical pattern of Nature.

So I do hope that this sense of growth and development is part of the Oasis movement as the year goes by,a very encouraging happenning  as far as we are concerned is the arrival of two organic Health shops n the main street of St. Paul's Bay.

Both are run by lovely people who believe so much in this true approach to nature. Both shops are well organized, each with their own style and atmosphere, and each with a wholesome variety of goods.

The Oasis Settlement - (Selected Past Articles)

After browsing through some past papers I thought the following selection might be helpful.

From the beginning 'The Oasis Settlement" has been offered as an integral aspect of the Oasis Vision. In this Scientific/Materialistic Age, when the Rational Consciousness dominates, it is not easy to really accept the 'Spiritual Dimension' of life in its various aspects as something we belong with quite naturally, and although the 'New Science' and the Quantum Physicists are now increasingly acknowledging its relevance in our life it still causes problems.

The Oasis Settlement from its practical perspective is a model for a self-sufficient life-style for those who choose to work and live together freely and happily, yet in anordered way. It can begin with several people and evolve from here in this ordered way with enightened vision. Running parallel with a World Development it will be supported and protected by a New Energy of supernatural dimension. I understand that this Settlement wil begin at the appropiate moment.

Communion - Community - The Oasis Way to Peace.

Introduction.

There is a real need today to find peace and to knoew that Life has a meaning and purpose so that each individual can discover a true relationship with other people and the world around him.The needhas to be met in a way that makes sense and is able to connect to reality, otherwise the way that Life is developing is increasingly hazardous, negative, and lacking happiness and freedom.

Mary explains quite clearly that the answer lies within the heart of each individual. It is a simple way that really does mean a sense of reality and can lead people increasingly to a peace that is also real. This reality She explains has to begin with a belief in an external supernatural force of Goodness and Love, a Being who has created out of Love to see love can develop and perpetuate itself in an amazing way. If people can accept this and begin to respond to this they can move themselves increasingly into 'a Way of Life' that allows them to feel free,  happy, peaceful, and full of Life.

People need people - this is the way God has created a simple system of energizing that can allow people to flourish in an amazingly peaceful, happy way.This system of energizing can only work if people accept its drive and impetus in terms of Love - a Love for each other, the world, and God- seeing each other as part of a procedure that can let the world develop fruitfully and perfectly as it should.

So the whole success of a peaceful development relies on the ability of each individual to decide that he wishes to live in this way, not alone, but with others, drawing out of each other a positivism whose very root motive is Love. Only Love of the other will let this scheme work. Love proves itself when people begin to act in a loving way, supporting each other, caring for each other, sharing with each other everything of themselves in a practical realistic way so that the Love energy actually builds and develops into a momentum that can be physically experienced and is resonating in the atmosphere and the environment.

Much has to be achieved to develop this way truly, only when people begin to let go of a selfish introverted attitude to life, and inspire each other to uplift each other into this communion of Love in a community that really does care and share together, will peace and happiness be available to them in a realistic eneterprising development of their own life that makes sense.

Scheme of Order - (Code of Ethics)

(1)  Each day try to organize a simple way of believing in honesty and truth by living this code to the letter. Use every moment to be true -don't flinch ! This will let you see clearly the way to go.

(2)  Develop a programme of energizing by letting God give you a full supply, and let this amplify by using it with your own energy to love and live with Him and everyone you meet.

(3) Feel free in the way you move, let yopur body feel light and easy, very bright, light, colourful, beautiful-it will grow this way.

(4) See clearly that you are growing stronger, and use this strength in a positive, loving, creative deveklopment, to help other people.

(5)  See very clearly that as you love and live in this way, God will provide everything you need to develop this way perfectly,- and you will know this perfectly.

The Oasis Model Community.

The Oasis has always proposed a 'Way of Life' that Mary has offered as a protection for the days ahead. She knows that this 'Way of Life' will work perfectly, but She also asked people to make inroads into it as individuals, so that God's plan will operate smoothly without delay at the appointed time. However because of a materialistic world development there has been little appreciation of what She has been offering, and the model community that She had hoped to develop has been unable to. No community can develop without a simple motivating drive towards the goal that it sees very clearly as true, and Mary explains that any real commitment to this 'True Way' has to be an inspired, selfless, dedicated approach based on a true enlightenment.

At this point however She wishes to offer a very simple clear explanation of the model that will come into being as 'The Oasis Model Community', and She asks people to try to understand its clarity, its simplicity and its true nature.

(1) People will begin to realize that they can work together to reform society within their own environment, and they will move into this proposed Way of Life with a spontaneity that believes that God is organizing them within their own sense of freedom.

(2) They will realize that the protective force of their own nature is able to work with God to begin to create a self-sustaining environment free from materialism, and based on a real altruistic approach that wishes everyone to benefit equally.

(3) They will realize that if they pool their resources and use their individual abilities they can create a community life-style that is positive, happy, free and moving with God's Life-force,- the Spirit of Life- in a harmonious rhythmic way that is allowing them to feel secure because the uplifting process is genuine, and spiritually, lovingly, caringly orientated.

(4) They will also realize that spirituality has to be an active development that relies on a commitment to loving, living, caring, sharing- resources, goods, skills, everything one possesses, so that everyone can share a protected environment, and the practical result of this will be very wholesome, viable and uplifting.

(5) They will also,because of their non-materialistic approach, realize that the monetary development in the world has no influence on them because they have chosen to opt out of it, to prefer a way of living that surpasses materialistic emphasis to organize their environment along the lines of a simple holism that relies on nature, human nature and the rhythmic interaction of these in a way that allows a self-sufficient  sustainable life-style to develop in a completely positive free way.

Mary has offered this 'Way of Life' as a proposition for those interested:- until it develops in a truly, motivated understanding of what this entails, there can be no Supernatural Development to actually allow these environments to really be organized with a full force of God's Life-force that is able to give a total protection from ensuing disasters and disruption.

So Mary is hoping that people will realize the vital nature of this development, and that they will try to see a way within their own present life to make a contribution to the Way of Living by their simple apprciation of its meaningfulness and its ultimate necessity. Only if they realize that it will have to develop in this way if the world is to be saved, will they realize what they can do as individuals to help God with this Final Plan.
