A Funny Thing

Oh it really did !

A funny thing happened to me today !

I woke as usual, dressed as usual,

looked at the clock as usual,

and saw that time was standing still.

I stepped outside to see the day breaking

and the sun shining,

and the people full of every imaginable show

of lightness and brightness.

They were floating around in this colour,

drenching themselves wth it,

looking like rainbows

in a beautiful scene of light.

And I was with them,

moving with them,dancing with them,

feeling such joy, such perfect joy,

they gave me such warmth

and light and love and peace:-

a perfection that dazzled me

and showed me Heaven - just for a moment.

A funny thing - but I think it really happened !

One World

I see a world,-everyone in peace,

a peace so pure it lights up space,

and time melts into a moment of bliss.

The whole of creation here,

fusing into life with perfect joy,

each spectrum colour resonating through,

blending into wholeness

and deep, deep, love.

A happiness so profound.

a life simply perfect,

a moment of clarity

that sees deeply into the soul of God,

knowing that I belong.

Simply Into Light

Colour my world with lightness

let me drown in pleniude,

let me soar into the heavens

only to find myself

in deepest peace.

Light is the essence of myself.

I yearn for it.

I plead with my soul to lift me into

its dizzy heights

to see splendour here.

Light is the knowing of me,

the knowledge of myself

in harmony with life and being.

Lifting me into sweet motionless rapture,

shining deeply into my heart, my soul,

to set my spirit free.

It lets me find a sure

sweet rapturous moment

when all creation lies within myself,

and shows me meaning, purpose,

fullness of time and space,

deep, deep empathy with all things

all people, all creation,

and that pervasive spirit of life

love and peace.
