Stillness and Activity

Jesus and Mary state emphatically that God Himself is stillness and we can't get to know Him without finding stillness in ourselves.The stillness is the time away from the hustle and bustle of life- to tune ourselves into God's wavelength. An opening of our heart to God to allow His Light into us - to enlighten us always. We need to actually begin to visualize God as Light, our souls are light and draw Him right into our soul, in this way see our souls as our real identity our individual link with God (with our talents and abilities) so that He lights us up inside, becomes part of us. We really get to know Him through prayer, reflection,meditation,quiet moments close to nature when we really see the beauty in life, sun, sky, trees, colours,sunsets and relate them to God and his Love. In this way we are constantly energizing ourselves - storing the energy inside us - becoming more enlightened to know how to use it properly. While we are being still in this way They assure me that we will be progressively enlightened to see more clearly the whole situation. Problems will be tackled better, negativity such as fear, stress won't drain us so much. We will be given deeper understanding to cope with pressure. Trust reliance on Him- know that He has everything in order.

They have given me the example of the cat. It seems to be the perfect balance of stillness and activity - a perfect model of agility. While its still it is gathering all its life energy - when its on the move it is perfectly agile- using the energy positively.

In our active times during the day we need to begin to draw on this inner strength this soul energy. The other trick of all is though that we should be using this energy to energize not so much ourselves as the other. Jesus and Mary say that for this flow of energy to begin to develop fully as it should in the world we need to begin seeing each other as beings of light and we give our soul energy to the other person or vice versa. We need to look at the other person positively draining all that is positive out of him- not regarding him negatively with fear, suspicion, distrust etc.- if we do this we will really begin to feel better and fuller in ourselves seeing him as a being of light not as a being of negativity. This is how momentum will be achieved and this is how the skill will develop. In day to day living this means that we will face situations where through our caring, genuinely and sincerely for each other, our empathy, our compassion for each other really will lift us into a new level of life-gradually the world will be changed. If we are unable to genuinely use the skill, our energy in this way it seems that we really won't survive. It is as if our energy will be short-circuiting ,God's energy will be short-circuiting-. He needs it to be used reciprocally because His energy is Love energy. This is how He energizes us with His Love - if he didn't Love there would be nothing.

We have a duty to keep the flow of His Love energy going in interaction with each other to bring the World back to wholeness with God. And we now can begin to play our individual part in the Plan - indeed we are privileged to be in on things right from the beginning. A long with the priviledge goes responsibilty to each of us to do our best to begin to get this Scheme of loving and Living moving in whatever way we can however small.

          God Himself is Stillness                                                 (locution given to Maureen by Holy Spirit 1988)

God Himself is stillness and must be seen in depth to appreciate the fullness of His Being.God can never be known apart from stillness, because it is the pivot for the motion that exists as an extension of His Being. Within the stillness He exists in Total Being and extends beyond that Total Being into a sphere of motion and action. To know God in fullness one must know Him in stillness, with a knowledge that one is part of that Godhead in one's own stillness, and that capacity to be still forms the pivot of our own lives, a point from which we move outward into motion and action drawing always on the inner strength which is the source of our active energy. Energy is to be found in essence in stillness, and this stillness is the fundamental essence of our existence because it is the very heart of the Godhead. The Godhead must be realized as this and within this concept we must incorporate ourselves so that The Ultimate Union will centre on a point of Stillness.
